The Family Care Coordinator will work collaboratively with members of the
inter-disciplinary team to provide education, assessment, support and advocacy
services to family members. The Family Care Coordinator will combine their
medical and counselling knowledge and skills to deliver individual and group
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in a health related field, social work,
nursing or psychology
• Training and experience working with families and young people in the
health/mental health field, particularly early psychosis
• Knowledge of community and regional resources to support clients, families
i.e., counselling services, emergency services, income support, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, interviewing skills, counselling skills, crisis
intervention skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Experience in developing and delivering education/groups
• Ability to speak French considered an asset
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and use of a reliable vehicle. Police
Clearance Certificate is required.
