INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION: The Fundraising/Database Intern
will be responsible to the Fundraising Coordinator and provide
administrative support through the efficient operation of the Chapter
office including but not limited to: database management of
volunteer and fundraising information; write quarterly newsletter; grant
writing; administrative/marketing support for all fundraising events;
provision of exceptional customer service; design programs, posters
and fundraising material.
QUALIFICATIONS: University and college graduates who have
graduated within the last three years from an accredited college or
university. Candidates must be graduates of post-secondary degree or
diploma programs. The position must provide the intern with first time
employment in their field of study. Candidates are only eligible to
participate in the internship program one time. Candidates must be
legally entitled to work in Canada.
HOURS: Full time (35 hrs/wk) for one year
