Human Resources Administrator Job ID # 195-2018
Reporting to the Human Resources Superintendent, the successful candidate will work a
4 day on/3 day off rotation at the Lac des Iles mine site.
Responsibilities:
• Entering, editing and maintaining employee information in a variety of H.R. databases
• Supporting the recruitment & selection process through performing functions such as
drafting and posting job ads; maintaining applicant inventory; scheduling interviews;
arranging medicals, criminal records checks; conducting reference checks and
coordinating travel for candidate site visits.
• Supporting the new employee on-boarding process through the distribution of coveralls,
hire on packages and completion of payroll and benefit enrollment forms.
• Responding to employee inquiries
• Maintaining Human Resources Department records such as tracking of staff vacation
• Preparation of reports
• Booking air travel for staff members
• Providing support to the Human Resources Team members
Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management would be an asset
• Demonstrated communication and leadership skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Proficiency in computers utilizing software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point,
HRIS, email and internet
• Experience within the Mining or Manufacturing industry would be an asset
• Valid Ontario driver ’s license required
The position offers a competitive remuneration package consisting of base salary, health &
medical insurance, retirement savings plan and travel allowance. Accommodations and
