VICTORIA AVENUE REVITILIZATION
The City of Thunder Bay is accepting Electronic Bid Submissions
through the City’s Bids & Tenders website at
https://thunderbay.bidsandtenders.ca for
Tender No. 001-2025-KGS – Victoria Avenue Revitalization
(Reimagine Victoriaville). Hard copy submissions will not be accepted.
Bids must be submitted and received by the City not later than
2:00pm local time on:
TUESDAY, MARCH 11, 2025
Electronic copies of the Tender documents are available for download
on or after Saturday, January 25, 2025 from the City’s Bids & Tenders
website. All Tenderers must log into their account and register for the
Tender before they can download the Tender documents.
A mandatory bidders meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 4,
2025 at 10:00am within Victoriaville Mall (111 Syndicate Avenue South).
The Work to be completed under this contract will include, but not be
limited to:
The demolition of Victoriaville Mall, renovations to the Victoriaville
Civic Centre, Court Services building, and the private buildings
currently within Victoriaville Mall.
The construction and re-opening of Victoria Avenue from Archibald
Street to Brodie Street (approximately 175m) including underground
storm sewer and watermains, and new road construction including
pavement, curb & gutters, concrete sidewalks, decorative pavers,
streetscape planters and street lights.
The construction of two new public plazas including concrete
sidewalks, decorative pavers complete with concrete base, storm
sewers and drainage systems, streetscape planters, street furniture, and
decorative lighting.
To ensure receipt of the latest information and updates via email
regarding this Tender, or if a Tenderer has obtained the tender
document from a third party, the onus is on the Tenderer to create a
Bidding System Vendor account and register as a plan taker for the
tender opportunity.
All Addenda will be issued on the City’s Bids & Tenders website.
The lowest tender or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
